smartWLI systems can measure extreme rough surfaces. The roughness exceeds the specified limit of Ra max. 80 µm
according to ISO 4288. The implant is too small to select profiles with a suitable evaluation length. In such cases, it is

possible to use 3D parameters or detect single structure and evaluate them statistically.
