Imaging Topography – stitching




                                                                                                    stitching:
                                                                                                    •   merges the 9 single scans of a
                                                                                                        surface together
                                                                                                    •   stitching must be used for single
                                                                                                        scans after manual positioning
                                                                                                    •   it is necessary to import the files in
                                                                                                        the correct order to each other
                                                                                                    •   a significant overlapping area is
                                                                                                        required
                                                                                                    •   stitching use the microstructures
                                                                                                        in overlapping zones to calculate
                                                                                                        the best alignment of the single
                                                                                                        scans and merge them together
